Time Out’s Chef’s Table celebration in partnership with Visit Ballarat signals the welcome return of the experiential side of our business
If, like us, you thrive on attending one art gallery opening after another; you curate your evenings based on the range of events on offer; and you love a weekday night out in the city supporting friends in the industry – it’s been a hard couple of years.
Thankfully, we’re starting to see a shift to real life events being back on the cards for most experience-based companies. With regulations changing and governments prioritising policies to boost economic recovery, IRL events are becoming vital in the rebuilding of our cities.
Here at Time Out we are seeing a great appetite for real-life events again among our readers as they settle back into their ‘pre-Covid’ ways of living. A recent Time Out survey showed that the majority of survey respondents felt positive about getting back out and doing as much as possible after lockdown restrictions (58%), a welcome insight for those of us who like to throw a good party!
Our client base is also showing interest in connecting with our readers in fun and exciting ways. One example of these clients is our longstanding partner Visit Ballarat, with whom we’re hosting a premium event named Made of: Ballarat Chef’s Table.
On June 18, Time Out will showcase the very best of Ballarat’s producers, wine makers, and arts and craft makers. Guests and Time Out competition winners will be treated to a three-course set menu by Ballarat chef Tim Bone, matched with gin, beer, wine and liquors produced by local talents. We’ll get hands-on with a candle making workshop by Ballarat born Essential Candle Co, and also enjoy a curated market stall set up showcasing local arts and craft from the area.
Coming on the heels of our celebration for Wildlife Photographer of the Year at the Australian National Maritime Museum, this premium event, bringing Ballarat to the people of Melbourne at Flat Floor Pavilion in the heritage-listed Meat Market, is our way of creating an impactful campaign to generate long lasting memories.
Time Out is ready to take on any event ideas – big or small. If you have an idea or concept you’d like to see be brought to life, please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss.
