In these current times of uncertainty in response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, we want to let you know we are here to support you. 

As you know our core mission is to get our readers out of the house and exploring every corner of your city. We’ve been doing that for 52 years globally and for the last 12 years here in Australia. But for the next few weeks with major event cancellations, large cultural institutions temporarily shuttering and public health considerations, we realise this is not going to be straightforward. 

So for a little while, we are offering our readers a new way to experience the city: Time In.

We're still going to tell our readers about the best events that are still going ahead, the coolest hidden bars, the best restaurants and the most interesting cultural offerings. Where readers can get out to spend time in these places and it's safe to do so, we’re encouraging them to show their city some love and help those who may be struggling by their patronage. For those that are staying at home and not able to enjoy those things, we're going to do our best to bring the best of ‘out’ to their lounge room. Think: virtual city – how to stay mentally out when you are physically in.

As part of a global directive, Time Out Australia teams are currently working from home as of Monday March 16. Our operations have been designed to be performed off-site, which means our full suite of services, including account management, media services and content solutions are being delivered by staff working remotely. There will be no disruption to your services. We are here to adapt and assist.

We want to say to all of our valued clients, peers, supporters and readers that we are here for you, so please contact us if you have updates regarding your business trading hours or event. 

Notwithstanding any further response to mitigate against the risk of COVID-19, you can rely on our team to be flexible during this time of uncertainty. 

We love our cities. We will get through this together, and we will be stronger on the other side of it.
