Sponsors will be a part of Time Out’s strategy to help small businesses and rebuild our cities
The situation is still uncertain and changing by the day but one thing we know for sure is that supporting the little guy can make a world of difference. Shops, bars, pubs, restaurants and cafés are cautiously adapting and they need our help, which is why Time Out's latest step in our editorial strategy to help rebuild our cities is Love Local.
Love Local takes the form of new-look neighbourhood guides to drive advocacy for local businesses as they begin to get back on their feet post-Covid. We want to keep our readers informed and inspire them to really get to know their local suburbs. From August to November, our content teams will focus on different corners of the city each week, so that no matter where you are on the compass, you'll land on plenty of exciting things to do, IRL where it’s safe to do so, and online.
We are looking for like-minded brands interested collaboration and sponsorship with us in bringing Love Local to life. Through sponsorship your brand can be seamlessly integrated into the campaign creative for a native, authentic experience.
Our readers have always shown strong community spirit, such as during the bushfire crisis and currently through the pandemic. We want to encourage them to continue channelling that giving-back attitude and support local businesses in need. By partnering with Time Out on this initiative, brands will have the opportunity to align with a highly purpose-driven editorial direction, and help us bring about positive change.
This strategy will run across both Sydney and Melbourne. Whilst Melbourne is still under lockdown the strategy will remain one of supporting from within, but we will continue to adapt to the climate and hero your brand.
